Annoying AC Load

This must have been discussed before, but I have not yet seen a solution while I have a feeling that there has to be one…

I have an ET112 on the output on my non-victron inverter. I have made peace with the fact that I will always have to look at the “Inverter/Charger Off” block, but…

Why are my AC Loads always messed up?

If I set the ET112 to AC Load (most logical choice?) it simply doesn’t show up.
If I set it to Grid (which doesn’t make sense) it shows, but as an input.
Same thing if I set it to Generator (why is it called Grid then??)

The only way to have it show up in a somewhat decent way is to choose EV Charger

Then at least it is on the right side. But why isn’t the (in this case) 14W showing as a total sum in the AC Loads block?

If I open it up it shows the values

But the Total always shows --W

(I am playing around with virtual devices in Node Red but also no luck so far)

It is driving me nuts…

Why can’t I have the Power of the ET112 show up in a decent manner? Would it help if I got some kind of Shelly device that I keep reading about?
frustrated

As far as I’m aware it’s the multiplus that handles the load calcs hence no output on VRM figures. Not sure how well the Shelly intergration is regarding showing the output in VRM

There is good reason this scenario is documented as “might behave unexpectedly”.
The interface is built around a vebus or rs inverter. It will not render correctly without one.
The solution is to buy a victron inverter.

This has been discussed many times before.
