Why is only 1 inverter charging the batteries?

I have 2 48/5000 Multiplus 2 inverters configured in split phase and 2 Eco-worthy 280ah batteries hooked up to it. I turned on ESS today so I could set schedules and have access to some more nodes within Node-Red. But I’ve noticed how the inverters act differently when charging. Only my slave unit (L2) will send power to the batteries to charge them. Is there a reason for this or something I have messed up in my configuration? Because of this, it basically ignores the max current setting I have in DVCC as it is only charging at half that setting.

Did you configured the ESS assistant in both units?
(The “send to all devices” function doesn’t work with assistants!)

Nope, the assistant is set up on L1 only.

That’s the problem, the ESS assistant is needed in all devices.

I swear it said to only install it on 1 device. But I will go ahead and get it installed on L2. Thank you.
