Why is my DEss not charging my battery

Hello,

I started to work with the dynamic Ess for a couple of days now, today is the second day it is Running but so far i see no improvement in inteligent charging.

It isn’t schedueling any charging times from the grid or predict. And the price is gonna be cheap. Plus the battery isn’t fully charged.

Does any one know this problem or can help me with it. I am stuck here.

Or do i have to be patient and wait for the DEss to Gather more Information before it functions right.

I thank evrey on that helps me.

PS: I am sorry for my bad gramatic and writing😅

Ohh and It is in Green mode.

@Leon

With green mode, self-consumption is primarily goal. So it will buy from grid only, if this is less expensive including system efficiency compared to using grid directly.

You buy price does not show much differences between 18:00 and 19:00.

Default efficiency is 80%. It can be altered via dbus according to some posts in this bullet board.

From the manual:

Q: What about the efficiency losses of the battery?

Dynamic ESS on VRM takes battery losses into account. The system looks at the dbus service com.victronenergy.settings, path Settings/DynamicEss/SystemEfficiency.“

Default efficiency is 90%. Either multiply the buy price with 1.1 or the sell price times 0.93
