What's my problem...?

I get this alarm now and then…
I’ve checked all cables and connection, but I don’t understand.
What is Error code #67 -No BMS

This error means the GX device has a time out waiting for new data from the BMS.
Please can you provide some description of your system components? BMS, inverters, chargers etc?
Typically this is a faulty cable between the BMS and the GX, but there can be other causes…

MultiPlus-3KW-230VAC-12VDC-600Ah-Li-Lynx-Smart-BMS-&-distributors-Cerbo-GX-touch-generator-MPPT-Orion-Tr-Smarts (2).pdf (1.8 MB)

This is my system

ok, so quite a complex set up.
Checks:

  1. does green status led stay lit on Lynx smart BMS during err 67?
  2. Can you use Victron Connect App during err 67, connect to the lynx smart BMS and check battery readings?
  3. Check Trouble shooting chapter of smart BMS for additional trouble shooting.
  4. Ensure that CAN terminations are in the correct places.
aim is to see if the problem is on the battery side of the Lynx BMS, or between the Lynx BMS and the Cerbo.

Has this happened for a long time or just recently. What firmware are you running on the Cerbo. Are you running any firmware mods / add ons or Node-RED. Have you recently updated firmware and the errors then started.

Is it a Cerbo mk2, if so try the other VE Can port.

There have been some error 67 reports with recent firmware updates unrelated to hardware issues.

It is fine now…?

Don’t know what happened… Will try to understand it…

You didn’t mention what GX device you have or what version it is running?

Sorry!

I have what I think is the “first” cerbo…
I have it for a couple of years.
(How do I see the difference? It says C00A on it?)
And I running 3.63.

I thought the problem was solved by I got a alarm today…?

Double check all tje wires and connections… But nothing seems to be wrong.

Does it have a built in screen ie a ccgx or is it an actual cerbo?
The names are often used interchangeably.

No it’s have a separat 5 inch screen

@Dailycamper Use the below to reset the bms control and see if it stops these errors. I have had similar, unexplained on my testbench. Also make sure the the MK3 device is updated under the inverter section if not done.
