But what cables, connectors, sensors can I expect to find in the box at reception.
Or asked in another way, what connectors to I need to purchase separately to get started with the project, when the box arrives ?
How do you intend to connect two battery banks to a system that seemingly consists of two MPs in a parallel configuration? Since the only option that officially supports this, is using Victron SmartLithium in conjunction with the Lynx BMS
II expect and assume that 2 x MultiPlus (Victron MultiPlus 12/1200/50-16 230V) operate in parallel on the AC side,
and that the 2 individuel 300Ah (LiFeP04-without external accessible BMS) can be used as feed without problems.
The 2 batteries are individually connected to its “own” inverter, with short 2 x 30cm 50mm2 cables.
In addition both batteries are interconnected with a 2x300cm, 50mm2 cable.
The purpose of the parallel operation (and not a single big inverter) is to reduce the 12VDC cable distance between batteri and inverter - leading to reduced voltage drop.
I can’t place the 2 batteries at same location as it will cause weight un-balance in the boat, so 1.set of batteri+Inverter(MultiPlus) has been placed in each side of the boat, located close to “Center of movement”.
Parts are purchased and will be installed and tested
And thats crucial, since victron can not work with two battery banks in one system. And one system is given by setting and running the two inverters in parallel on the ACout. But it looks to be correct here, even though the interconnect is long.
