You can now log out of VRM on all your other devices at once. Useful when you left yourself logged in somewhere, or when you want to be sure nobody else has access to your account.
We made a fix for the DC sources cards, which could keep showing an old value instead of the current one.
The switches panel now supports generic inputs. Your generic inputs show up as on/off indicators, as a value with or without a range, or as a temperature, depending on how they are configured. Values can come from sensors, calculations or third party services or other Node-RED data.
When your request for access to an installation or a team gets declined, you now receive an email about it. The decision is also recorded in the event log.
On iOS you can now use your password manager to fill in your email address and password when logging in to VRM.
You can now add installation photos in HEIC and HEIF, the default photo format of an iPhone. This works both in the portal and through the API.
Users with read-only access no longer see the photo and note buttons on the installation dashboard, as they cannot access them anyway.
In Access management, you can now appoint a whole user team as manager of an installation group, rather than adding managers one by one.
One thing on my instance, I have dc loads enabled, no victron inverter, the ac loads box is showing but doesnt seem to be updating with the associated shelly Gen 4 us plugs total power output (218W), they do show individual actual power use when you drill into the box:
Hi, the card tweaks look clean. We could also move the EV card into that area, with its connecting cable changing direction to suit its position in the system. This would make better use of the space and create a cleaner layout, especially for those of us whose devices have no outputs in the input section.
Tighter spacing between the cards would also help achieve a more minimalist look. I appreciate your efforts and hope my earlier suggestions on reducing the spacing can still be considered.
“He has no Inverter/Charger and also no grid meter, so the system has no idea what loads are where. The result is that the summary is not there, it is considered invalid, so no totals are shown. But when you drill down, then the individual unsummarised measurements are shown.”
Thanks Barbara, makes sense. Would it be possible to have this function as a feature request, to allow the sum of multiple shelly plugs to report as ac loads in the dashboard. Basically would allow one to track what each individual appliance or circuit is doing in the system, more granular detail than a victron energy meter would give with only higher level l1 and l2 data.
Hi, I wonder if you are aware of a problem, where multiple AC coupled inverters (Solaredge in my case) show only a fraction of solar production in VRM charts. I have 2 inverters, but “solar production” in charts shows values only for one inverter. Actual production in real time displays correctly for both inverters (it shows real time a sum of active power of both inverters - but in VRM chart production shows only 1/2).
