I am helping my parents with their system remotely. But I am not able to see any values. I am out of practice on VRM and trying to figure out if this is something on my end.
System is connected to a mobile hotspot on a phone. I am able to see values through remote VictronConnect, but for some reason the data is not showing on VRM, no historical data on VRM, and it Device List shows the products havent conencted for 3 days, despite advanced graphs saying otherwise. Been on Hotspot for over an hour now.
If you can access the remote console, or get your parents to access it directly, go to the VRM settings and look at ‘Last contact’ (should be counting) and ‘Connection status’… also check out a bit below those ‘Stored records’
If their network connection to the GX device is a bit patchy, it might take a while to upload the recent history (especially if they have a micro-SD installed). Also, network errors can be a problem.
Oh, older firmware on the GX can also cause the “connected but not updating” thing.
