In VRM, when I look at my PV power graph it correctly shows a max reading of say 6120W, however when I compare this to my Max PV Power Today graph it shows a max reading of 7240W. Why the discrepancy?
Try Zooming in on your second pic (in VRM) to get down to instantaneous vaiues. Even then, at best you’ll get down to per-minute samples. Whereas your first pic has chosen values from per-second measurements at the RS.
They’ll rarely coincide, especially when you appear there to be experiencing heavy swings in pv output.
Thanks for the reply, I guess it makes sense… I’m just wondering that since the MULTI RS is supposed to be 3000W per string, why it would “allow” more.
Attached is a pic of the day in question and you can see that both strings are able to exceed 3000W but I never see more than 6000 or maybe a tiny bit over that on the actual PV Power graphs so far… second picture shows it “maxed” out per string.
