VRM does not display critical loads

I have an EasySolar in a parallel grid setup. I’ve added a CT on the jack entry and I was hoping to get on VRM two AC load measurements.

  • One for consumers (heat pump) below CT
  • One for L1 displayed as critical load (rest of house)
I know the CT kinda moves the grid measurement higher up the AC-in line but it seems to just replace the internal one and make the internal one obsolete!?
Or is there some config I ought to do to have the desired display?

You say its grid parallel, then you cant measure critical loads if nothing is connected to ac out 1

If you want measure more loads use energy meters, ct replaces internal measurement

What I called L1 is AC-out1. I have nothing on AC-out2
I basically have the same setup as on the attached image

I was hoping the internal meter would keep measuring something, namely AC-out 1+2.
If it replaces internal and makes internal one useless it’s a bit of a shame. It would be good to be able to redirect its use for critical load.

That should work like that, ac out 1 is measured by the easysolar, and current sensor measures grid/consumption from grid

Did you configure it the right way?

I configured what I think is the right way but in doubt I thought I’d ask
I’ve tried classic and new UI as some posts have mentioned different results, but with no luck.
Do you have anything more specific in mind?

Marc, If you know the “right way” as you mentioned and have managed to get such result I’m interested in the details and would be very grateful

Ac out is always measured, that has nothing to do with it

Current sensor replaces internal input measurement en should be right after utility meter,

also you will have to turn on ac loads in remote console, that way the multi can measure the heatpump on ac in side of multi

Heat pump consumption is included in the AC load figure reported as a whole.
I agree about Current sensor
Regarding AC-out, I do not believe it’s a measurement but rather a calculation.

Where is your heatpump connected? Ac in side or ac out side of multi?

Ac out 1 and 2 are actually measured not guessing
