Clamped around the tails of the grid supply, I have set it to grid meter (also was by default) but shows on VRM dashboard as AC load. is this normal (I was expecting it to show on AC input) also shows in “consumption” but it is not a load of the Inverter. Any clues?
Don’t really understand the question and without an overview of the system design etc., not much more to suggest other than maybe look at these setting.
Thanks for you reply.
My system is not fully deployed as yet.
Conceptually trying to see how the vm-3p75ct works with VRM.
Defining the meter as a grid meter and using L1 CT clamp to clamp the single phase grid just after the utility meter, I was expecting the power in to be shown on ‘AC in’ in the VRM. Instead it is being shown as an AC load. (As shown in attachments - current 0w as I’ve unclipped the CT clamp), as it’s being shown as a load. It is also reporting as consumption in the VRM
- before, I would only see consumption when I discard the batteries with a DC load (DC system enabled within VRM)
I hope that makes more sense.
Currently I do not have any ESS assistants enabled.
Thanks
Sorry for the delay. I could not simulate your problem as my test bench shows.
I can only suggest a reboot of the Cerbo, ensure the firmwares are all the latest.
Thanks for trying.
Since then I have introduced a multiplus. The AC input (from the external meter) now shows correctly and the AC load varies in location depending upon the config of the multiplus (Ii 48/5000/70-50)
I still have a lot to learn!
Thanks I am getting there!
Nigel.
