VictronConnect 6.40 on windows: announced Bluetooth connection not working

In the change log for the latest VictronConnect 6.40 is written:

Updates include:
Added Bluetooth connectivity support on Windows
VictronConnect now supports Bluetooth on Windows, for monitoring and control of our Smart products.

but it’s not working on my PC.

In the windows 6.40 app under Troubleshooting → No Bluetooth on Windows is written:

Bluetooth connection is not supported on Windows.
Use the appropriate cables for your product, or install VictronConnect on a platform that supports Bluetooth connections, such as Android, iOS or macOS.

Now I don’t know whether Bluetooth connection on Windows is integrated in the latest VictronConnect 6.40 version on Windows or not.

Any idea?

Regards, Gerd

It is. Updating the troubleshooting guide was probably forgotten about.

Does your PC have a bluetooth adapter?

Thanks @chrigu for your replay and great it’s really working.

The problem was, that the distance between my PC und my Smart MPPT was to far.

Also Thanks to Victron, I have waited for a long time for this feature.
