I read the victron connect manual and they
say To connect to your Victron product, over Bluetooth, always connect from within VictronConnect. Do not connect from the phone’s
system menu because VictronConnect will not find your Victron product.
So via my cell phone in victron connect app i can see the charger . ok good but unless you give me reason not to do so i would prefer using the LAPTOP(win10) for everyting that concerns the charger.
but on my laptop, I installed victron connect and via the victron app, it does not see the charger(bleutooth) humm…
I went into the bluetooth section directly in the pc(outside victron connect) and did a scan and the pc bluetooth sees the charger and asks for the pin number…. But the the victon app on the pc does not see the charger. in the manual they say not to connect via the pc directly but rather via the Victron connect app on the computer .
on this site Victron Energy VE.Direct to USB interface – Volts energies
is this the piece of equiptment nonanda69 suggests?
if yes i see a usb end and the other end, what is it?
does that plug into the charger ? where? because the ip65 has no hole, only 2 wires(one to wall plug , the other to the batterie)
ok .
so how to use my pc laptop bluetooth capableto program the charger then?
Just to be sure, i re write that the laptop do can see the charger (only) when I go into the (non victronconnect app) into the raw bluetooth of windows 10
ho that is a bumer,
then that leaves me, since i dont want to use the cellphone, to be forced to buy a macintosh laptop or tablet.
would both the macintosh laptop and tablet work?
If yes then i would have to buy a used mac product…
would you be kind enough , if you know it to tell me up until wich year back can I buy? 2013, 2004 , 2017?
Do mac products have versions( or whatever compatibility landmark) like android do?
which is the oldest one I could buy so that it works without too much fiddeling?
Well sometimes in several apps , on pc versions you have more choices more options to choose from than on cellphone.
Is someone able to confirme me that they have the very same options presented and that we can finetune as much on smartphone equal to pc?
how has been the experience for those who have tried to go into advanced or expert settings via a smart phone? was it painfull because of smaller screen etc?
