Victron XS 50A DCDC charger w Litime 100ah lithium

I recently replaced my Victron 12/12 30A DCDC charger for the newer Victron XS 50A in my Land Cruiser. It’s charging a Litime Lithium 100ah smart battery.

Litime recommends 20A charge which I set on Victron app. Have the settings for battery on Victron app:
absorption voltage = 14.40
Float voltage = 13.50
Storage voltage = 13.50
Expert mode = off

The Litime app shows battery at 99% charge, and saying it will be fully charged in 5 minutes. It’s said that for a few days during short drives around town while Victron apps shows bulk charge.

This doesn’t seem right for a battery that’s been at 99% charged.
See screen shots.

Today, on way home from store, I noticed the Litime app showed the BMS overcharge protection kicked in when the charge hit 100%. Also noticed battery went into a balance state (it’s only been thru 4 charge cycles). The Victron app shows absorption charge which seems odd.
See screenshots:

The BMS overcharge protection did turn off and no charge was going to the battery.

Are my settings ok and is this normal behavior.

Guess you’ll have to go down 0.2v on the absorption, your battery probably isn’t completely balanced and shuts down due to cell overvoltage.

Would you pls post the charger settings of the xs ?

Thx

As i wrote before, go down with the absorption voltage, let it charge/discharge for a couple of cycles and check the cell statusus in the battery, i think its not perfectly balanced yet.

Wether it shows 99 or 100% is the same, its just a number :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
