i have a Eco Worthy lithium battery 12v 280ah it says charge at 14.6v …my chargers are VICTRON MPPT 100/30 AND A VICTRON ORION SMART 12/12/30 DC /DC…THE charge SETTINGS ON THE PRE-SET VICTRONS states charge at 14.2v for lithium lifepo4 should i stick with the victron settings of 14.2v or go with the eco worthy settings of 14.6v
The preset on the Victron chargers is for Victron batteries which charge at much lower voltages. These lower voltages are better for battery life. 14.6V really is the absolute maximum and I would suggest charging at a lower value, personally, I would use a low voltage with the following caveat. The only caveat is if your batteries do not start balancing until they reach a higher voltage, see what info Eco-Worthy have for balancing voltage. Hopefully you have a Bluetooth battery so you can monitor what the cells voltage balance is.
Thanks for reply yes I do have bluetooth in the battery i will leave it on the victron settings which is absorption 14.2v float 13.50v and see how it performs
