Victron smartsolar rebulk but without absorption

hello everyone I noticed that the victron smartsolar after completing a full battery charge then with bulk, absorption and float operations, in case the cycle is repeated due to having exceeded the minimum threshold of the float voltage for 1 minute , the regulator resumes the charge arrives at the bulk for the second time , but no longer passes in absorption , remains there for a few minutes and after drops to the float .

The question is that if you reuse the bulk and get to the voltage where the absorption begins for the second time, the absorption is elinited having already been performed the first time? I also have the fixed absorption parameters at 20 mn, which is why I had noticed this strange behavior.

This is likely due to adaptive absorption time being enabled. If the discharge was only minor, then the absorption time is kept short, to not overcharge the battery

If you set max absorption time to 20min, then that could be automatically reduced down to 3min20 due to the minor discharge. I would leave it enabled, but maybe reconsider 20min of max absorption, thats fairly short. Adjusting that up will also lengthen the adaptive timers. See adaptive absorption time further down

Hello, and thank you . But as I wrote before, the surcharge time has always been set in fixed mode! Some time ago I had adaptive and as you say, the times vary, but for a long time left it fixed.
