Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/70-MC4 VE.Can (12/24/48) connecting 2 strings of 4

Folks,

I recently installed the Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/70-MC4 solar inverter and it works like a charm from the very first start.

I have 8 panels in a series/paralell of 2 by 4, connected to the MPPT to one of 2 MC4’s. If I understand the 250/70 well enough it has 2 MPPT controllers, while now everything is connected to 1.

Is it smarter to divide the 2x4 panels over the 2 MPPT controllers? Or can I leave it like it is without loosing any efficiency?

It is one tracker.
The two MC4 pairs are connected together internally.
