MPPT 150|60 MC4 charge controller. Parallel or series inputs?

I have two slots of 9 polycrystalline solar panels of 260 watts, exposed to the west and each group of panels produces 100V and 30A.
My MPPT 150|60 MC4 has a double MC4 input + and -.
Are they in parallel?
Can I connect one group of panels to a + and a - and the other group to the other + and -?
Then I would have 100V and 60A input.
Right?

Yes they are in parallel, if your panels produce 60A total i would advise to get a bigger mppt

Again ?

One of the reasons that the controller has two sets of mc4 is that mc4 are rated to 30A, so the controller would be limited by the plug type if it had only one set.
As mentioned , those are in parallel, so definitely not two separate mppt chanels like an Rs450

You have 2340w installed and get 2x100vx30a=6000w from them ?

Great.

I think they mean that Voc is 100v and Isc is 30a at STC, but yeah, 30A seem high from that type of panel

Use the online Victron mppt calculator and go from there.

Was it me? Or something in the system…

No I’m happy with the proposed solution - just have to wait until I’m there again in February to make it that way.

Suddenly there were about 4 posts asking a suspiciously similar question to yours.
I think Ludo was experiencing De ja Vu.

It’s the Ghost in the Machine, no doubt.
Or something I did to rough it up.
Unknowingly, of course!
