Hi all. I have a fairly old Phoenix 12/2000 Compact inverter which blew one of its capacitors (these components do have a service life - typically around 5 or 10 000 hours). The capacitor is a Sancon CD295 25v 15000uf. I cannot seem to find this exact make of capacitor online, so would like to know if there are recommended replacements out there. Further, without disassembling the entire unit, I cannot determine what kind of connectors the capacitor has - i.e. “straight through”, “snap in” or “screw in”. If someone knows the type of connector, I can probably find the required quality replacements online myself. Thanks in anticipation.
Hi, I hope you’ve received help with your capacitor.
I also have an old Compact 12/1200 inverter and am having difficulty finding the correct manual for this version, especially to configure the search mode. Do you happen to have a manual for yours? It might be applicable to mine as well. A picture of the DIP configuration page would be incredibly helpful. Thanks so much!
Hi @DoM1
The Victron website has the manuals. Maybe this is yours… https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/Manual-MultiPlus-Compact-800-1200-1600-EN-NL-FR-DE-ES.pdf

Hi JohnC, thank you for your response. Unfortunately the fitting manual is neiter in the current, nor in the old manual section. Was hoping you have a manual, since you wrote that you have an “old” compact inverter as well.
