Hello, I have a problem with my setup. Basically, I have Victron MultiPlus II GX installed with two US5000 batteries. The problem is that there is no battery discharge at all. Batteries are 100% SoC all the time, on the virtual console I can see the current is pass thru input to output, no batteries are involved.
There are no errors, virtual console shows the battery status, etc.
Did I miss something? Please help
P.S. I have connected VC to the grid but output is just in garage to power up my small applicances, no ET112.
Did you install the ESS-Agent?
If not, should work through this guide:
Yes, I installed ESS and it didn’t make any difference.
Are your loads connected on ACOut or ACIN?
ACOUT should be working right away, AC-IN Loads, you need a meter, else the system “can’t see them” and won’t feedin anything.
Connected to AC-Out-1.
I noticed also that when I switch off the AC-In then there is no output on AC-Out-1 maybe it’s expected behavior?
Also noticed that ESS Relay Test is non stop = Pending
That’s probably wrong?
Yeah, if the relay test fails, the system won’t operate.
Also check the physical switch, it has three positions: Charger Only, Off, Inverter. Needs to be set to Inverter to be able to discharge power.
Thank you @dognose the switch was in wrong position
Now I can see the discharging battery.
Many thanks
