Good morning, I have configured 2 multiplus II of 10000VA in parallel to form an AC coupling, I have read somewhere that it is not possible, and in other manuals it indicates that it can be done by mounting a transfer switch to decouple it from the input. Can you help me identify the possible problems I may have and if it is really possible to parallel couple 2 multiplus II of 10000va/48. Thank you
Have a read of this.
MultiPlus-II External Transfer Switch
thanks!!
Other than it is not a supported set up and is specifically mentioned as not to do. With a transfer switch - specifically for generator use not grid. See the link water_rat provided.
There will be a safety consideration and possibly physical damage to the units particularly on the contacts. And likely no warranty as it is unsupported set up.
Hello, in the case of using a transfer switch for the input of a generator set, if it is contemplated in the manual, is that so?
It is for the hybrid generator set up. So is ok if you are offgrid and use the generator.
From the manual is a certification issue it seems for grid use.
Note that this setup is intended solely for generator-based systems and is not certified for use with grid-tied systems.
that’s how it is
