Off grid parallel mutliplus ii 48/15000 with 30kva generator

HI all.

Need some clarification regarding parallel multipus 48/15000.

Building a system that consists of 2x multiplus ii 48/15000 that will have a 30kva generator for backup if battery gets low.

Reading conflicting information regarding the external transfer switch.

This is a single phase installation with just the 2 mp 48/15k in parallel.

Is the external transfer switch (contactor) and ground relay required for this type of installation?

The way i read the guide, there should be no M.E.N link in the AC distribution board coming form the ac output of the multis and that the ground relay connects neutral and earth whilst in standalone mode and disconnects when generator is running.

But what if the generator has its M.E.N removed (as is frequently done with permanently wired generators)

I have installed plenty of parallel quattro systems without issue. The multiplus guide saying it must have external transfer switch but only for 3 phase?

Can someone guide me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance

If you have an AC input, generator or grid, you need the ATS solution to run parallel units.
It was originally only qualified for gensets.
The manual is fairly clear about this and shows the genset/AC example.
