which cable do i need to connect to rasp pi with venus OS. I’m struggling with this I bought Victron Energy VE.Direct to USB Interface Compatible with VE.Direct Connection Products but it does not connect into the chrager
The VE.Direct uses plain Cat5E Ethernet cables.
Ready made should be available in almost any big store.
To connect VE bus products to a pi, you need the Mk3/USB adapter. This connects to the inverter with a standard UTP Ethernet cable. VE Direct is a different interface used on MPPT’s and some smaller inverters.
