Connected to Fogstardrift 105ah battery ( new). Battery lightly used two days to level where “ power level moved from green to amber charge level 11-12. So not discharged.
It has 10mm sq cable and eyelet attachments suitable for 30 amp.
Selected normal mode in error for 1 minute and immediately changed to Li-on. Been charging >3 hours. Back of charger quite warm and still-in bulk level. Is this normal? Switching off to be cautious

Did you check the battery terminal voltage with a meter during charge? (also actual charge current if you have a dc clamp meter?)
If the battery is discharged to 20%, then it may well take >3 hours to get back to 90%, where the charger can move to absorption.
