In have two of these iP22 12/30 (1)s. One works fine, charges each of my eight 12.8 V 300Ah PowerQueen LiFePO4 batteries individually at bulk rate, then to ABS, then to Float and each gets charged to @13.7 V, but the other iP22 now charges individually only to 11.90 volts. I never see the bulk charger indicator on the iP22 or on my iPhone App. It goes directly to ABS mode and then to float. Skips the bulk charging mode. The battery therefore doesn’t get charged beyond 11.90 volts. It isn’t isn’t any of the PowerQueen BMS. Is this a Victron firmware glitch? I recently updated both to the latest version. Charge preset is normal, current 30A. I’ve only gone through 2 charge/discharge cycles. New batteries etc.
@Hubbs Does the same happen when you swap the chargers? What charge profile have you set and do they match? Have you measured and compared the voltages at the charger terminals and batteries and also compared it with the charger readings in the app?
My IP22 12/30 does exactly the same. It always has. Its about 7 years old, so not the newer range that just had a firmware update. I discussed it here somewhere but to no progress. I was advised to return it to my seller, but where I am in Africa I did not receive the support from them.
Overall not the best product I have from Victron. Everything else I have from them is great.
