How come I, as an authorized Victron installer, don’t have the option to get help directly from Victron when needed.
I’ve tried going through the wholesaler, but it doesn’t work because they tie their support to serial numbers, and my questions aren’t directly related to an already installed or purchased product.
Most stuff is covered in the manuals.
If the distribution centre tech can’t help then other places are either the forums (this is actually where alot of my learning has come from), other installers or request training. It mostly sounds like you need more training.
Where we are we have an authorised installer group where we bounce things off each other.
Do you have something specific you want to know now?
I would like assistance from Victron in preparing the missing documentation required to connect the Quattro II inverter to the Swedish power grid.
The response I received regarding what is missing:
“I’ve taken a quick look at your data, and the Pst and Plt flicker values are higher than we would like to see (likely taken from the standard’s limit values rather than actual measurements); we also require a third-party EMC certificate.”
In Sweden, only very basic training is provided for residential and industrial facilities.
Most of the training is for boats and motorhomes.
Ok. So it’s not with the product but more regulatory things. There at the bottom of the product pages are most certificates.
That is different to knowing things about a product.
You have seen the certificates here? Are there any there that would help or have what you need on them?

It would be great if you could find that.
Your area has a regional manager who’s details are on the contact us page on the main victron site, that is a reasonable place to start with certification queries if the info does not exist currently online.
I have tried that route as well, but after a year of waiting, I haven’t managed to get the problem resolved.
That is why I want direct assistance from Victron.
