Hi all, new to this product, all seems fine apart from one thing- I can see the voltage rising (boat engine) but can’t see it represented in a plus value for amps/watts. Seems OK for the solar as can see that represented here, just not the engine. Apologies if this is something obvious and many thanks for any help! Cheers, Brian
@BBPeckham Ensure the alternator is upstream of the shunt an not bypassing it directly to the battery. The online manuals and diagrams could best demonstrate how to ensure this.
The normal issue on boats is you have left the hull / engine ground connected to the battery negative, you need to move this to the system side of the shunt. This cable caries the alternator charge current so must pass through the shunt.
