Victron 712-Smart not displaying on Bluetooth list

We have new Victron 712-Smart. Installed with no issue. The simplest thing is proving impossible. It doesn’t show up in our Bluetooth list on our phones. We have two phones that are updated IOS, and it doesn’t show up on either of them. I even tried a Manual Reset to Factory Settings with no avail. Any advice?

Please try an android phone

Thank you for that. I have Bluetooth, Local Network and Cellular Data all turned on already. No connection.

Wait, you are using VictronConnect, correct, not trying to connect to the unit through your phone’s BT pairing like you would a headset or something? I only just noticed the wording of “on our bluetooth list on our phones” of your initial query.

If so, try restarting your phone - I’m an android guy myself, but one of our employees has an iDevice of one flavor or other and he pretty routinely has to restart the phone to get the BT to behave.
The VictronConnect user manual has a BT connections troubleshooting section: 13. Troubleshooting

I tried both. Connecting in the Device List on the Victron and seeing it the normal way through my Bluetooth connections on my phone.

But you surely have somebody that will try for you or borrow you one ?
