I’ve got a Tank GX 140 attached to my CerboGX. Currently only one of my 3 water tanks is hooked up to it (I gotta pull up the floors to put the new level monitors in the other two tanks). I currently have the three ports that aren’t being used set to 0 gallons since I haven’t found a way to disable them being included.
However, the fresh water level shown on the main display is only at 25% when the one tank with an active connection is full. Rather than adding up the total capacity and showing the remaining total, it appears to be averaging the percentages of all 4 ports themselves regardless of connection/setup state?
The Brief tank levels are for a fluid type and many boats may have 2 or 3 tanks for 1 fluid type and it gives the total fluid stored divided by the total capacity. Therefore, if all 4 of your tanks are set to the same fluid type with 3 empty and one full with the same capacity then 25% is correct.
To disable an unused tank go to Settings > I/O > Analog Inputs and then tirn off the buttons for unused tanks. I only use 3 of the 4.
Still though, I didn’t have them set to the same capacity, I had all the unused ones set to 0 gallons and the only one that currently has a sensor in it set to its correct capacity.
Thus, when I hook up my other two tanks (that are each half the capacity of the first tank) I’m worried about how it’s going to do the total percental calculation.
My one service with dual tank shows the combined average OK. I ran the beta versions and did a lot of checking over the tank displays. I wonder if your case was not considered, i.e. tanks with zero volume which has upset the calculation. See how you get on as you get them hooked up.
