Upgrade from v3.30 to 3.62 on a raspberry pi4.
I had no real issues with v3.30 but wanted to enjoy the new GUI ( or GUIv2 ).
My ESS system is a partial island with 2 Strings supplying a MPPT 450/200 that is charging a DIY LiFePo4 battery.
The island part is on the AC/OUT of a Multiplus II which is fed from the battery and has its AC/IN connected to the grid ( L1 ).
Also connected to the grid ( on L1 ) is a SMA PV inverter which is known to the Venus Raspi via modbus.
This screenshot shows the live VRM “display” and (below) the guiv1 display of a “remote console” on local LAN.
Despite the fact that the SMA inverter is not shown on AC/IN this is a correct representation.
Current from the MPPT ( PV Charger ) is completely used to charge the battery.
Current from the SMA inverter ( PV Inverter ) is completely fed to the grid on L1.
This is how it looks on the guiv2 display of the remot console on local LAN:
Solar Yield is correct ( sum of PV Charger and PV INverter ).
Connection Point of PV Inverter is correct ( line from Solar Yield box to AC/IN line from grid to Inverter/Charger ( MP II ) on grid side.
But the grid feed in from PV Inverter ( SMA ) is not shown.
It is shown on the VRM display.
Both are “live” pictures.
Is it a bug or a “feature”?
