Hi all, per earlier this afternoon we have Venus OS v3.60~78 in beta.
Small fixes as well as brings SignalK Server and its plugins up to date.
Thought about making a new Topic, but my issue may fit here.
I also have been dealing with a low Battery Warning from my Fridge/Freezer Ruuvi sensor. I know it is just due to low temperature, but my issue is since updating to 3.60~72 and now ~78, the Notifications tab keeps up the alarm/warning even after “Acknowledging Alarm.” I really liked how in 3.55 after you Acknowledged the alarm/warning it would make the notification go away. It was helpful in not getting confused by what the alarms were.
I feel like this may be related to the new Feature where the Notifications don’t pull you away from the screen you are on at the time to help in troubleshooting. See image. Small sauce compared to many other bugs on here, but thought I would add it in.
Hello all, per just now v3.60~79 is available for public testing.
More fixes - getting closer to fully stable version.
Feedback welcome! With a bit of luck we might be able to release already next week.
Note that there is one surprise in here, which perhaps is not appreciated by everyone: we’ve removed the Virtual Switches for now. They are not stable, and will come back in future betas.
Have a good weekend, M.
Good idea! Will think it over.

Hi all, per just now, v3.60~80 available for public testing.
Fixes the issue with adding Node-RED custom nodes. Thanks for the reports!
Great work !
I installed v3.60~79 on my (apparently very special ) system today and can confirm that my bizarre bug seems to be resolved!
Tested on a second system where I could reproduce the bug and there the v3.60~79 version also fixed the bug.
Truth be told, I wasn’t expecting the (hopefully final) fix for this very peculiar bug to be released this fast.
My part to fix the “Multi not reported” bug was limited to triggering it, credits for fixing it go to the Victron engineers - always a pleasure to work with them.
Warm regards to Jos and the other engineers who make it all happen!
For the curious ones: more info on the bug is in this topic.
And now I’ll be upgrading to v3.60~80
Best regards,
Bart
Role is not available for modbus tcp meters, only for meters via RS485. Can you add the role for modbus tcp as well?
Would be double nice if we can choose “Heatpump” also from GUI-v1 instead of only via Gui-v2
Investment into gui-v1 is quite minimal at the moment.

Hi @strexy , yes, on the list! Its taking some time to get that heatpump thing working all over and for all conditions. Apologies.
Sorry to ask, I have a stack of customers that would like the Wind Role for the AC meter, currently we just use PV which messes up DESS and PV data, I’m sure I not the 1st to ask this
Hi all, per just now, v3.60~83 is available for public testing.
Various fixes. Feedback welcome!
To report an issue, please first check the recent topics in the beta category. And post a “me too” message in case you have the same issue. That also helps us to prioritise and triage.
And in case there is nothing, make a new topic rather than answering to this thread aka topic.

Two more of my bugs squashed, woohoow
Awesome work folks !
Edit2: the BMV-702 node status bug was fixed after all, I just had to delete the node and pull it back in to flush out the old cached version.
A post was split to a new topic: V3.60 restart issue
Not sure if it’s a coincidence but with v3.60~83 and GUI-v2 I’m able to select “Heatpump” for my EM24 Ethernet meter.
New UI
- Boat page: always show AC load quantity label for gauge
- Brief and Overview page: fix issue leading to Watts being shown while user preference is set to Amps.
- Update translations
I actually appreciated the AC side displaying Watts and the DC side displaying Amps. That’s most fitting on an electric boat, my customers seem unable to get used to Watts for DC propulsion power and Amps for both AC and DC is very confusing towards what the actual AC power is.
If at all possible, please allow the ‘bug’ to be ‘enabled’ as an option.

I’m using virtual devices in Node-RED and I have to praise this feature. It offers fantastic possibilities, and I’ve waited a long time for it. To display the battery charge levels of my electric cars, I’m currently using virtual tanks. Unfortunately, the only option available is to represent them as tanks. I really wish there was an option to display a battery instead. I know virtual batteries exist, but since my car batteries aren’t directly connected to the Victron installation, it doesn’t make sense to represent them that way. The benefit of the virtual tank display is also that you can see the status across all installations in the overview.
