Whereas gui v1 still show grid as connected+details, gui v2 show grid as disconnected when inverter is set to mode Off.
Easy to reproduce.
MPII is set to Off
MPII is set to ON
with old gui v1 and MPII i set to Off:

Off clearly does does something different in your system than it does in mine.
The inverters are still showing external control state.
Off means zero power on the output.
My inverter shows off state.
And is not connected to grid.
How can you say “off clearly does something different”? Most likely we have a different installation…
Grid is usually connected to the input of your inverter (in my case AC input 1).
One should be able to see the grid information unless grid is really down or in case of a true off-grid installation…
…and this is what is shown in gui v1 and how it should be on gui v2… or do you say gui v1 is wrong since years?
I think this is a small display bug, that’s all.
We’re also seeing the grid is disconnected on V2 when the inverter off. On V1 this is not the case.
The grid is measured using a ET112.
It would seem this was the part (of the partial screenshot) that got me wired with an incorrect conclusion. Since the inverter state also did not change to off. Yes i know the change is intentional-
It is a load before the inverter not after.
Not inferring anything at all. The flow doesn’t match the v1 config at all.
