I am starting to look at expanding my use of my Cerbo. I am intrigued by what I read about SignalK and NodeRed. I am about to upgrade from 3.42 to 3.54. Is there any downside to specifying the Large version? I’d like to experiment a little, but may in fact end up not doing anything fancier than the basic VRM data/display that I use today. But I don’t want to install the Large version if it is going to be a problem down the way if I don’t exploit its capabilities.

You won’t notice the difference. You need to enable signal k or node-red so you can use it. You can always put the normal back on. If you do some node-red make sure you backup your flows. I have seen users accidentally load the normal version and lose their node-red.
