Ve Direct or Ve Can or both

Hi Everyone

I have 4 MPPT250/100 and I am trying to figure out if I should connect them with VE Direct or VE CAN to my Raspberry PI. Right now I have done both, as I would like the smart synching of the MPPTs over CAN. But I would also like the extended history the you get from VE Direct (I understand the difference is 2 days over CAN and 30 Days for VE Direct). But now I see all the MPPTs twice in the Device list. Can you merge 2 devices or should I just use one of the protocols and live with loss of either synchronization or the 30 day history. If so which do you recommend? Br Jens

I’d go for the 30 day history, but ofc its a lot more wiring…

You can only use VE.direct OR VE.Can NOT both.

Then I think I will use the VE Direct as I have JK BMS’s on my batteries, son the synchronised charging is not that critical. Thanks
