VE Direct inverter fan at 100%

Hi everyone, my VE Direct inverter (phoenix 48 500VA 120v) fan became noisy a couple weeks ago, I´ve had the inverter for exactly 1 year running quietly, its been always in the ON position and fan only triggered at a very low speed for a few seconds sometimes and a little bit louder only when it was under load, but a couple weeks ago fan seems to be running at 100% no matter if the inverter is in ECO mode, OFF, or ON, fan is always at 100% as soon as I plug the battery in, I can tell a slight variance in RPM with the voltage (when charger is connected or disconnected), what can I do to fix this problem? Thanks!

Check to see if the fan has sucked in an insect, or other debris. That can also block airflow.

The fan is clean, and ambient temperature is 16c so it shouldn’t be spinning at all in idle, and it even spins when I turn the inverter off using the switch

If the unit is under warranty, then RMA it.

sadly I can’t, I guess I will have to live with it until the fan dies and then put an external one to keep the inverter cool…
