VE bus BMS NG mains detector

Good day all,

I have a question regarding the mains detector, i have a Ve bus BMS NG and a multiplus 12/1200/50 invertor,

The manual states the mains detector is not nessesairy for the multiplus 12/1600/70 and 12/2000/80 models, bud the link refers to my 12/1200/50 model as well.

Should i use the mains detector or not?

Only for the mentioned models the mains detector is not needed.
