After updating the firmware to the beta version 3.70 _3x, there’s no ESS Assistant or BMS.
The remote console is still flashing!!
After downgrading to version 3.66_1, everything is fine again!

I think the problems with my system in a have been present since the beta versions above 3.70~xx. ![]()
The released versions 3.65 or 3.66 all work ![]()
Perhaps someone from Victron can weigh in. Is the firmware on your inverters up to date? How about the assistants? Maybe try updating firmware and assistants with 3.66 and see if everything still works. If it does, try 3.70~ and see if it makes a difference?
Hey @Hundefreund02 is it ok if one of logs in and checks? And if needed updates to v3.70~xx ?
Do you loose power then; or just monitoring / optimisation?
Are you running modifications like serialbattery ?
Yes ,i use serial battery (newest Version)
and serveral other drivers !
But there are noch Problems with Versiond 3.6x
…Multiplus II 5000 (SW 5.66)is in pass through Mode (no ems , no battery)
and VenusOS Konsole ist blinking!
I had never this before!
Hallo ,i’ve update the assistants and do the VenusOs update to Ver.3.70~35 beta , but no error changes
(flickering VenusOS Remote Display -Versions 1 & 2 !) and no ESS and Battery lost
FW Multipus II was Ver.5.66 !
Hi @Hundefreund02, I moved your question to a different category.
I’m sorry, but in the beta threads we don’t work with systems on which other drivers or modifications are installed.
The providers of add-ons or drivers often lag behind the beta releases, modifying their add-ons AFTER the Victron update. You should notify any problems to the github page for the add-on. The add-on will get updated for the new Venus firmware at some point. If you are reporting problems always state if you have add-ons.
Sorry Matthias ,but in the past beta Versions worked without Problems including all my external Apps and drivers !
I think Its not a Problem with serial battery
Serial battery states 3.6 OK, anything above this “very likely OK” !!! Which means may work or may not
Missed that compatibility page.
The mystery continues.
But i’ve installed the new version 2.1x which is completly supported with VenusOS 3.7x !
see : How to install, update, disable, enable and uninstall | dbus-serialbattery
and click on 2.1x night botton
Presume you have posted this issue on github ?
Sounds like a glitch with serial battery add on.
I’ve installed the newest beta Version 3.70~37 with all the same problems.
I-dont know what’s the problem ?![]()
I posted the issue on the seriallbattery Github page, but haven’t found any similar problems yet.
I still suspect a different issue.
