Hi I have a Orion 12 12 30 TR are smart non isolated charger fitted to my campervan and want to have a bit more charging power, I have a 200amp alternator fitted. I was planning on fitting a second unit to double the charging power and purchased another Orion 12 12 30 TR but when I have just got it out of the box I realised I purchased an Isolated version, will i still be able to fit this?
Yes.
Keep in mind that with an isolated unit, the charge current will pass both positive and negative cable, opposed to an non-isolated Orion where the single negative conductor only has to carry the delta between input and output.
