Using CT to measure solar output and use that to charge batteries VIA Multiplus II

Installing a battery storage system with initially one Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000 – 48V 5000VA Inverter/Charger and four Pylontech US5000 batteries

And looking to {not physically} connect but use my existing FIT system output (which is a SolarEdge 3680 inverter with 15 250W panels}.

Now I believe I can use a CT installed between my solar meter and the grid to measure solar energy and I believe I can configure the VE Multiplus II inverter to use this solar energy to charge my four Pylontech US5000 batteries, is that the case? And if so, how easy is it to do {programming the inverter}

Also I see two different versions of the VE CT one with bare wires and on with a coax plug on the end. Which version do i need ? Understanding that the coax version is easily and quickly converted to a bare wire version

Hi, some reading material if you don’t have it already:

Also, in the current beta, soon to be prod, there is IP control of these PV inverters (firmware dependent) that allows the same zero feed-in capability as Fronius already has.
