Using 6 gauge ferule to connect a 10 gauge wire to a 6 gauge wire

I have a 10 gauge wire coming into my RV which consist of a neutral, hot and ground wire. I want to run the shore power through a 30A break switch (RV is 30A) and then run 6 gauge wire to the A/C in on the Multiplus II. My problem is this, the wire coming into the RV is 10 gauge, 3 wire, neutral, hot and ground and the breakers I can find are only two pole units. My though is this, I can run the 10 gauge hot and neutral wires into the breaker and then into the Multiplus II and then I can take the 10 gauge ground wire and use a ferule connector to connect my 10 gauge and my 6 gauge wire together and then into the ground into the A/C in side of the Multiplus II. Will this work?

Current unit is the
Multiplus-II 12/3000/120-50 120V (UL)

Unless you can find a range-taking crimp ferrule then better to crimp the #10 to a ring crimp and the #6 to a ring crimp and join the two together at a screw post. Or connect the two wires into a ground rail in the enclosure for the breaker.
