Upgrading to LiFePO4 using Victron Blue Smart & Orion-Tr Smart chargers - Feedback wanted

Hi,

I’m in the process of upgrading the 12V DC system in my small sailboat and would like feedback and suggestions on the initial system design. I have some experience in (successfully) designing and wiring simple 12V systems but I’m new to systems with lithium batteries.

Here is my initial design draft for the charging setup:

For the sake of simplicity, I have left out some things, such as the starter motor and engine control panel wiring. Also, I’m planning on doing this on a budget and thus I’m trying to use as much of the existing system as possible (e.g. solar charge controller, Orion-Tr Smart, and inverter). The current AC charger does not support lithium batteries.

I would mainly like to know if this setup will work or is there something fundamental wrong with it. However, all suggestions and comments are welcome!

Thanks for the help!

One of the fun things about a Smart Orion is if you set the “Engine shutdown detection” corectly it should see the solar charger voltage and turn on to also charge the lithium battery.
