Unstable generator

In an off-grid situation, what would you expect a Quattro do to if the generator went unstable (voltage and frequency fluctuations)?

Would it disconnect the generator, and switch immediately to inverter? (as it would do if the generator stopped unexpectedly)

Or would there be a loss of output for a number of seconds?

Normally, the inverter NEVER switches off. The loads continue to be supplied even if the generator fails.
Of course, if the batteries are so discharged that the capacity is insufficient for the load… that’s it.
You can also use the generator to support the battery… if there are larger loads.

But normally, no interruption is to be expected.

What kind of usage do you have?
