Two EM540 energy meter with role set to grid

Hi,

I recently added a second EM540 energy meter to my cerbo gx. The role automatically set to grid.

Seemingly, it’s possible to have two energy meters set to grid role. Which energy meter is the ESS choosing as the grid meter for regulation?

Is it automatically picked, or is there some option I can configure to select which energy meter I want to use for ESS?

I have searched the Victron code on GitHub, but I couldn’t find where the one grid meter is selected for ESS. Does anyone know where in the code the grid meter is chosen?

PS: I know, I’m supposed to set the second grid meter as acload role. But now I’m curious.

In the remote console under devices you can select what role a device has, you can set multiple grid meters no problem.

In the remote console under ESS → grid metering you can select which one is used.

I don’t see where exactly I can select the meter.

Indeed, curious, looks like i was wrong.

I will do some tests next time i’m working on an installation with 2 meters.
