Hello community,
I’m having an issue with the time handling between my Cerbo and the VRM portal.
On my Cerbo the time zone is correctly set to Europe GMT+1.
When I configure my DESS tiered electricity prices (different rates depending on time of day), they are shown in the VRM portal with a 2-hour offset. This makes the whole schedule wrong because it’s using the wrong time base.
I can work around it by entering the times manually shifted, but that becomes incorrect again whenever we switch between summer and winter time. In my opinion, this should be fixed by Victron so the system respects the Cerbo’s configured time zone. After all, when entering times in the format 00-xx-xx, it should obviously relate to the Cerbo’s time zone and not UTC.
My questions:
-
Am I doing something wrong in the configuration?
-
Or is it really the case that the VRM portal always uses UTC for DESS, so I have to adjust the schedule every time daylight saving time changes?
I’m currently running Venus firmware 3.66. I also tried the 3.7 beta, but the problem remained.
Thanks for any advice!
