I would like to make a point to Victron that the terminal connection sizes are too small and do not allow for larger cabling. This needs to be addressed and improved because it makes Victron less like a candidate in some of my Solar projects and though I like the quality of Vitron, I don’t like that they don’t listen to their customers about making product improvements so I have stopped using Victron for most of my implementation at present
What devices do you mean exactly?
normal lugs with 70qmm+ from Klauke or Cimpco do not fit the Lynx. Use the narrow “SG”-variant.
Mmmmm you can still use large cables you just have to get creative
I was referring to the 12 V charge controllers for 40 A and 30 A the tiny little hex screws. Do not allow large enough cabling if you are using larger arrays on your camper or at your shop or at your hunting camp.
If there are cable ends, that can be soldered or put over the cable with a smaller nipple to fit in that little tiny hole doesn’t that cause heat problems?
For example, four gauge wire with NVX nipples they’re made of aluminum won’t the heat being dissipated, be greater than you’d want at your charge controller?
You mean the MPPTs?
In the 30 and 50A models should fit 16 mm² (AWG6) and that should be enough as long as you keep the length below 3m (9,8 feet).
And what if you need it longer than 3 m? Not operated wires of the same quality either unfortunately so dimensions may vary.

Then you should try to change design and run the solar cable longer. (For efficiency reasons)
As an FYI on the 75/15 mppt i have very comfortably installed then with 6mm cable both on the battery and the solar side.
