Cerbo temperature input with LM335Z TO-92 – a memory lapse?

Yesterday I connected a self-soldered LM335T in a TO-92 package to Temp.Port 4 on my Cerbo to monitor the temperature in the main electrical distribution board. In other words, the cable run from the sensor to the Cerbo is 10 cm.

I’ve now noticed in the graph that there are repeated gaps where no data is transmitted. The data is transmitted via MQTT — so this isn’t portal data that might be experiencing a hiccup, but local data.

Is anything known about this kind of “memory lapse” with LM335Z sensors?

Hi, I’m also currently looking for reliable aftermarket temperature sensors for the Cerbo.
Unfortunately, there are often negative customer reviews. Perhaps you’ve installed one of the faulty sensors too.

I got these from Amazon — it’s difficult to say whether they’re “bad” sensors.

Unfortunately, they also have two one-star reviews.
I think the same ones are available on AliExpress too.

I’m going to order some from Reichelt Elektronik now — but it’ll probably be just as much of a gamble.

Otherwise, I’ll buy the original sensors.

I’ve ordered LM335s from Reichelt before and they are working great.

I’ve now ordered the LM235 sensors. Let’s see whether I have the same luck.
