System shuts down on loss of mains

I’m trying to find a solution so my battery and PV system won’t shut down with loss off grid power..

This lead me to this thread.

I have a few questions :

Do you also need an ATS ? To switch between the grid (AC in) and running solely on victron/batteries ?

I also suppose you need to disable LOM in the inverters ? ( multiplus II in my case )

Does this box with the ziehl go right after your main circuit breaker ? From grid → main breaker → ziehl box → main board ?

The Ziehl is for islanding. (Safety double disconnect). The MP2 already has the double disconnect built in.

If the system is shutting down on LOM then there are other troubleshooting avenues to explore.

The victron inverters already have an ‘ATS’ in them.

Do you have a grid code set? If you don’t then tighten the tolerances on the lower voltage side.
