Switching MPII between "on" and "inverter only" loses details from grid pane in VRM portal

,

Hi all,

I’ve notice that when i switch my multiplus from “on” to “inverter only” that i loose grid details in the vrm portal.

When the multiplus is “on” i see:

When the multiplus is switched to “inverter only” i loose the grid amps/voltages details from the grid pane.

Is this expected behaviour or a vrm-portal bug?

In both examples above the emeter is still installed at the grid connection point.

Thanks,

Peter

I see the same behaviour in Conditional AC Connection / AC Ignore. Makes sense to lose the power and current, but the voltage is still relevant.

I too would like to see the line voltages in this state, even though the input relays are open.

I have a site that regularly goes overvoltage, and it present as grid lost alarm. Seeing the AC voltage make it easy to determine the fault

Hi,

Thanks for sharing, I actually also have that issue but i’d like to keep all metrics showing.

It totally makes sense for the multiplus to disconnect, but i also have appliances parallel (not behind) the multi which consume energy as well.

For me the expected behaviour would be to still show power/amps/voltage metrics since that usage is still flowing through the grid connection point.

The state of the multi has nothing to do with the usage on my grid connection point.

Regards,

Peter
