Super pack voltage in parallel

12,8/100 Lithium Super Pack

I have 2 12,8/100 Lithium Super Pack I want to connect in parallell (which is ok according to Victron). However when I charge them separatly ( With a Victron charger) the 2 year old one ends up with a no load voltage of 13,9 while the brand new one ends up with 13,3 V. Why? Can I still connect them in parallell or will it end up with a disaster?

With such a small difference there shouldn’t be an issue.

By parallel connect do you mean a daisy chain or two individual connections to a bus bar?

As LX says, this should not be an issue, if by “ends up with” voltage meaning that you are charging until disconnect happens, then when charging in parallel, the newer battery will disconnect first, leaving the 2nd battery operating. As soon as charge ceases, and the bus voltage drops, then the new battery should connect again.
