Sum of load not correct

Hello @all,

maybe some easy to solve problem, but I actually doesn´t get the solution.
Multiplus II GX is connectet to Grid on AC IN. PV inverter and some loads are connected to AC OUT1. Now I installed the Victron VM-3P75CT as Grid meter and connected to Multiplus via MODBUS. Works.
But the load on the flow chart is not correct. There is a feedback on L2 but the load shows zero. I expect to have a negative load, to have the correct sum of power.
In my case the shown AC load is too high.
Any solution to active the negative load for a correct calculation?
Thanks in advance
Sebastian

Your calculated mismatch is only 11W, or ~1% of the PV inverter power. This is well within normal tolerance for these system measurements.

yes, maybe. But this is not the point. As shown in the picture, power of L2 never is below zero. And when feedback is high, the sum of power is not correct.

Seeing a wonderfull 0 at the loads always indicates some issues with what the PV Inverter is reporting.

Calculation most likely ends in negative consumption, which then is ceiled to 0.

You should check the phase allocations of your pv inverter and make sure it doesn’t “underreport” it’s power on that phase. If the inverter reports for example 500W, but the multi is measuring -550W on ACOut, Conclusion would be -50W loads, which then shows as 0.

So, should compare the inverters L2 value with what the multiplus is reporting for ACOUT on L2.

You can create an advanced graph for both values, and see if that would logically come down to a ngeative consumption all the time.

Hello Dognose,

thanks, that pointed me exactly into right direction.
MP was configured to be connected to L1, but was wired to L2. PV Inverter was connected to Output of MP, but configured to be on L1…
So I changed wiring to have MP on L1…I didn´t found a way to configure for L2…
Now, everything seems to be alright.
Thanks for help
