Fronius Gen24 on Multiplus II AC INPUT

Hi Everyone, I Own :
1x MultiPlus-II 3KVA 230V
1x Cerbo GX FW 3.41
1x MPPT 450/100
1x SmartShunt 500A/50mV
1x ET112
2x Huawei LiFePO4 ESM-48100 48V 100Ah
2x PV 3KWp (2 Strings)

Here is my diagram

just few days ago my Fronius Primo Gen24 5.0 arrived and now I’m commissioning with on MultiPlus-II AC INPUT for AC and DC Coupling and wondering why the display on my Remote Console on LAN and VRM show PV Inverter on the right side, not on left side.

while watching @guystewart online training https://professional.victronenergy.com/online-training/18/ i realized his on left side (blue line connect with Grid)

Tried to change the Settings to AC Input 2, it disappear, while change to AC Ouput, same with AC Input 1 still on right side

also perhaps anybody can share diagram for my ET112 to display export and import to Grid?
thank you.

If you have the inverter connected to AC in, selecting AC IN 1 would be the right choice.

Sometimes VRM is taking quite some time to update the position change, a reboot of the gx device could help.

It then should appear bottom left in vrm:

tried to reboot Cerbo, but still no luck.
after reboot tried to change the position, still same as previous. L1 and output on right side. and L2 not display.

Hmm, the loads on the right side also say “AC Loads”, while in a configuration where you have a AC-IN and AC-OUT side it is supposed to be called “critical loads” and “AC Loads” on the left side.

That implies, that your multi is not distinguishing between AC IN and AC OUT and hence the change of the inverter position has no impact in visualization.

That looks like a missconfiguration somewhere else.

Can you draw a rough schematics how everything is physically connected? (Grid meter, inverter, multi, consumers, etc) - then we can look at configurations.

I think you have the option “Settings → ESS → Inverter AC Out in use” turned to off, and hence seeing this overall wrong schematics. (Assuming everything on AC IN, hence not distinguishing in the illustration)

But before recommending any setting changes, your actuall physical layout should be clear(er).

here is my physical layout

i don’t have that option. i do choose Yes for PV inverter in ESS Assistant.
here is my option

only those six item were available.
thank you

Hmm, that may have to do with the measuring method “inverter” rather than “external meter”, but not sure on that.

Have to wait for someone who is aware of “none-meter-behaviour”, I have a meter near the grid and the inverter on AC-OUT.

Very well. Thank you for your kindness

solved. by changing Grid Metering to External Meter on ESS menu.
